This one is so special to me and in my small collection that I am keeping it for the special occasions. But trust me, it gets to see the light frequently :-) Bye, my friend, Martin

Same here with my rose gold Karrée perpetual, Martin . . .

. . . only worn once a year in regular rotation, and on special occasions. Unfortunately, it spends most of the year locked away in a safe deposit box, so it gets comparatively little light. A pity, as it's the handsomest watch in my collection. Thanks fo...

On the one hand it might by a pity to keep a watch out of daily use or the rotation but otherwise it could easily loose its "special" status. Best regards, Martin

What a beautiful piece!

And the shadow on the number 10 (X) details highlights the three-dimensionality of this milled wonderful dial... Thank you for this picture Martin! Best, massi

Beautiful indeed

Beautiful enough to make me do such a silly thing as to buy it :-) I detected that not only the Roman numerals and the minute ring but also the "Glashütte ORIGINAL" logo is milled. Thank you for your kind words, massi! Martin

A very handsome GO

I would believe that it will be a struggle to take this one off and give rotation time to your other pieces. This can very well be that "one watch"

You are so right

internally I indeed refer to the Chronometer as "The one". But on the other hand it is so outstanding and special to me that I have no problem not to wear it but to wait for the special occasions. Thank you for sharing my emotions, Richard, Martin

Not much to add...

...but I want to add my voice to the chorus. Great photo of a beautifully detailed dial! Perhaps this is THE Glashutte Original, although it is tough to choose one icon from so many possibilities.

Clearly THE Glashütte to me

from the outstanding choice of great GOs this the most iconic to me because it amongst the rich choice tof marvels his is the one that focuses especially on timekeeping. The Chronometer looks simple at first glance but, dear, it is not. Everything about t...

Happy to give a little back to you. Your review was valuable input to me when it came to jumping or not. Best, Martin
