Greetings from a second cousin

They may not be the closest of relatives, but I definitely see some family resemblances.

The main differences between the two are obvious, but some subtler ones include: (1) proportionally larger numerals; (2) a matte, almost slate-colored dial, with slight, red highlights; (2) softer corners on the case; (3) inside railroad track with a simple guilloche pattern; and (4)  a surprising amount of lume.

Personally, I was delighted when I first saw photos of the Helvetia and vintage models also using Linton numerals.  I appreciate the design continuity, despite the differences.

This simple style is what I like most about the Reversos. It is a subtle and elegant watch on the wrist. Thank you! fernando

Which one?

A nice classic JLC A bit small by today's standards, but I'm sure it would look great under a shirt cuff for those with larger wrists And I really like the numerals, which seem like a nice hybrid of JLC's more feminine florale numerals and its traditional...

Great hands

Hi That looks great - really like the dauphin hands on your Reverso. Don't see them very often. Black dial is also rather wonderful too. Cheers JML

Thanks..

Unfortunately I do not have a better picture of the swiss cross

 By: foowy : June 23rd, 2015-03:44
I also felt the "leave" engraving below the cross were a little rough..versus Fernando's much finer which would match the quality of JLC one would usually see. Just a few reasons why I didn't pick it up. Although I must say it was very very tempting, espe...
