. . . courtesy Our Man in Glashtte. I was able to take a first-hand look at the exceptional automatic chronograph introduction from Glashtte Original last month. In-house calibers of this quality . . . . . . aren't exactly commonplace. What separates th...

I like the platinum version. A nice dial, well balanced.

Elegant pushers, and the cabochon is the cherry on the cake. The movement decoration is interesting, too. A good offer from G.O! Best, Nicolas

Brilliant engineering and finishing

I'm still waiting for this to arrive at my AD, though I know that this is a hard one for me - I love the watch and the movement, but the 70s just wears too big for me...I'm hoping in a small way that the leather straps might "fix" that somewhat. We'll see...

Large . . . yes, but . . .

. . . not impossibly so, Richard. A round watch of the same dimensions and proportions most likely would not work on my wrist, but shaped cases like this have an ameliorative effect. That's one of the reasons I'm so enamored of my Karrées, not to mention ...

It warrants a try, and that I will do.

The bracelet with it's fixed lug curves didn't fit me at all, but the strap might change things. This is a compelling watch from GO, and one that I like very much from the very first iteration.

That blue 70s - a 'Nauti-lite'? Any more pics?

Does you think the 70s blue-face chrono model is kinda channeling a Nautilus? Not that it's a bad thing - in fact it rather attracts me to it! But then I'm a sucker for slighly squared-off, blue dials... I didn't fall for the time-and-big-date model; this...

. . . so I can't top it, but can share these images of the silver white . . . . . . and grey . . . . . . dials. Blue is the most compelling visually in an objective sense; on my wrist, though, it was the grey dial that sang. ...

Interesting, and thanks!  Yes, the grey dial on a grey strap as in your photo does look rather lovely.   Hmmm... Do I see a slight tinge of brown/bronze on the grey dial, or is that just the reflection of the lights?

What's the case thickness? [nt]

I'm not sure . . .

. . . but here's an image that should afford . . . . . . a sense of its depth. Fairly thick, with an imposing presence on my wrist. Cordially, Art ...
