Thanks for reminding us this one, Art.

I stick to my preference, the PanoInverse, in stainless steel, manual movement In my opinion, the dial is more coherent. Here, I have the feeling the indications are a bit lost. Best, Nicolas.
Senator Chronograph Panorama Date . . .

. . . in rose gold . . . . . . and platinum. The introduction of an entirely new chronograph movement isn't an event that happens often. In this day and age, most manufacturers build upon existing designs. The cal 37-01 is an entirely new construction tha...
A new integrated automatic Chronograph?
By: stromer : April 1st, 2014-10:15
Well that is something! I had hoped for something of that kind after the last year that showed us more a consolidation and model maintenance than technical novelty. I am really looking forward to learning more about this new calibre. We all know that G.O....
Senator Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date . . .
By: Dr No : March 27th, 2014-02:48
. . . with blue dial on bracelet . . . . . . grey dial on leather strap . . . . . . and silver dial on rubber strap. Usually not given to superlatives, but in this case, I'll make an exception: the Seventies Chronograph is conceptually stunning. I've yet ...

alluring pieces....can't decide between the blue or gray dial(more classical)...will have to be seen in the flesh Do you have the dimensions of the case size?---will be much appreciated ,too, if the projected prices are available best henry
From Glashutte's website...

The case is 40mm x 40mm x 13.5 mm. The thickness is not bad for a casual piece with decent water resistance. No idea on the price, but I'm guessing the MSRP will be in the mid to high teens for these SS models.
That would be my guess, too . . .
By: Dr No : March 27th, 2014-11:51
. . . which would create a dilemma for anyone considering one of the 'usual' sport watches. The creation of an affordable in-house automatic chronograph caliber turns the Seventies into a credible contender across a wide spectrum of potential clients. I'v...
Here's an image of a Seventies on my slender wrist . . .
By: Dr No : March 27th, 2014-11:40
. . . for illustration's sake, Henry. (Please note the clasp was not fastened.) The Seventies is a large-ish watch, but its squared form and proportions enable it to be worn fairly unobtrusively. I could wear one, and that's saying volumes. Cordially, Art...
I'm also liking the Seventies Chrono a lot!
By: HW : March 28th, 2014-06:08
I have already told my AD to let me know once the watch comes in. My preference would be the ruthenium dial in leather strap. Panorama date, chronography (flyback), stop-seconds, 70 hours power reserve, power reserve indicator, a full 12 hours chrono, uni...
The blue version

Gets a big and qualified YES ! This is the case to build arounf this movement. i live the way the hide the 12hours dial (even if will probably not be able to read the small digits in the window) this way it does not compromise then style of the dial. This...
My sentiments to a 't' . . .
By: Dr No : April 1st, 2014-11:04
. . . on all points, although my preference over the long run would probably run towards the ruthenium (grey) dial variant. Re the position of the Panorama date aperture: it's not only the location, Martin, but also the aesthetic harmony between the recta...

Rose gold one too warm...
By: patrick_y : March 27th, 2014-12:59
The steel version has just the right amount of yellow gold accents to give warmth to the watch. Whereas the rose gold version seems too warm. Definitely prefer the stainless version.
The rose gold iteration exudes more warmth
By: rnaden : March 28th, 2014-04:22
This steel model looks a little cold. Maybe the gold accents on the engravings will tone that down in the metal. Will have to check it out for real to be certain.
Let' see
By: stromer : April 1st, 2014-10:25
Looks good from the pictures. I ma curious to see what is does on my wrist. The manual version somehow did not sing to me in the end. I really liked the concept, but in the end I wondered when I would wear it and did not come up with a good answer. So I l...
I've been waiting for this one for 2 years
By: psychotic : July 20th, 2014-08:12
I loved the colour scheme of the PanoInverse XL in white gold. The golden swan neck just sent shivers down my spine. Even though the steel version is nice in its own regard, the steel-coloured swan neck just didn't give me that extra zing. The steel PanoM...
