Girard Perregaux: Totally 💯

And this is what happens when a watch is a used as a sacrifice watch and dumped to the secondary market. Artificial supply at artificially low prices. Please read my other post about this and what is happening across Asia and multiple parts of the world with GP today. What ever it is, I say don’t pa

Girard Perregaux: Buying a laureato from an authorized dealers vs the secondary market

Yesterday, I received yet another private message from a member asking for advice on how much to pay for a current production laureato etc. My advice was to look at the neo vintage pieces instead. But if one insists on buy a current production model, I said to buy it from the secondary market where

Girard Perregaux: Laureato-Olimpico 8017 original price list

Laureato-Olimpico 8017 from the 1996 GP catalog. See the price list. Before tax 9,800 Deutschmarks. These were not cheap. This is 1996 … imagine that. And they sold out as this model was highly sought after. Good to know these things.
