After 6 months of secrecy we can finally say: Prim Time

Living the mechanical dream.

It all began in the late summer of 2014 when we were contacted by Glashütte Original and was asked if we would consider us to be involved in a project they would implement.

We only got cryptic information initially but gradually as it became clear that they wondered if me and Tony wanted to write down how it all began and how we got this passion for watches.

We wrote separately individually and talked about our experiences but we knew what the others wrote, admittedly we know each other fairly well so we knew roughly what the others wrote.

When we reached the deadline and sent away the story we heard nothing for a while and we did not really know what would happen. The only thing we knew was that there were 20 respondents

and 3 haven't a chance to practipate so 17 screenplays was send in. Then 5 will be picket out for the concept. After a few months the phone rang and we found out that we was selected and we were

informed that we would have to make a movie and since our stories were so similar, we would make the mov ie together. There were shots both in Germany and in Sweden which was not completely

painless with the experience of this type of mission we have. A total of five films would be made in the project and we got nothing know about the other participants or their movies.

The project was completed in November which was not officially they would be presented at the Berlinale festival in Berlin in February 2015th
.

The first part of this journey was a trip to Dresden where we made a short stop.

This part of Germany is very nice and interesting.

Later we went to the Glashütte Original Boutique in Dresden.

Of course we have to check out the caliber 37.

One of the greatest chronographs out there.

Or what?

The Boutique Manager Mr Sebastian Prinz and Head of Digital media Mr Rene Marx responded to all our questions.

A qiuck stop at The Deutsches Uhrenmuseum in Glashütte.

Then we was ready for shooting and we have to put ours cameras down.

I guess this lovely lady have a hard work with this guy, I hear some call him Mr Reflection. smile)

After a lot of shooting hours we have going back to Sweden and do what we use to do.

A month later the film crew come to Sweden for shootings there and it was still a no no for our

cameras so we haven't something to show from this part of the shootings.

Now it's time for the premiere of the movies and we come early at the Air Berlins counter because

it begins to get clear that we are on the way to The Berlinale Festival 2015.

The first guy we meet at the airport in Berlin.

The Germans knows how to prepare a hotel room, I didn't lack the chocolate.

Then we have to get out and take a look at Berlin.

Tony says: There is my new movie.

No it's not, it's a documentary about your haircut.

Here we stop by at the Glashütte Lounge with the fastest elevator in Europe, 24 floor at 8,5 seconds.

It's a great view from the Glashütte Lounge at the top.

Of course they make sure we feel great.

The stars.

Then it was time for the premiere of the movies.

The "actors" from 3 of the movies.

Then we have to answer the journalists questions.

A project like this is brand new and made for the first time in the watch industry so it will be exciting to see how it will be received.

This was something that we never thought could happen but Glashütte Original made this possible. It has been a very interesting journey for us, we

got to try something new that simultaneously linked to our hobby. We can not thank Glashütte Original enough, we have atleast got a memory for life.

I don't post the films in this post because they are ready posted here so I only post a few pics from us.

Thanks Glashütte Original.
