Spring just arrived in northern Michigan
Came up to the lake home in northern Michigan and was greeted with this sight.

The Joys of the Mitt
My in-laws live half way up the mitt and close to the lake. We have other friends who live outside of Iron Mountain and another in Copper Harbor both in the UP. It’s really lovely any time of the year.
A very relaxing view
I am surprised that tree hasn't been stuck by lightning in all those years, hard to tell if there are taller structures from that pic.
